Hexagon Mining is looking for a MinePlan Engineer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. This role entails ensuring effective operation of mining software, providing high-level technical support, and optimizing solutions for clients.

The position focuses on delivering value through collaboration with the technical support team and adhering to customer schedules. A bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or geology is preferred, along with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a mine preferred.
• Experience with operations and/or blasting mining projects preferred.
• Experience in a technical support environment.

Responsabilités

• Ensure mine planning software operates effectively.
• Provide technical support for MineSight software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve client issues promptly.
