Job summary

Tiger Brands in Pretoria is seeking a skilled Millwright for on-site maintenance and repair of plant equipment to maximise uptime, safety and product quality. You will conduct planned and reactive maintenance on mixers, moulders, conveyors, ovens and related systems, and perform fault-finding on electrical and mechanical assets.

Applicants should have a Millwright trade test or mechanical trade, a Matric/N3-N6 qualification, and at least 3 years FMCG experience.

Qualifications

• Matric/ N3-N6 Engineering qualification
• Trade test in mechanical field or Millwright
• 3 years' FMCG experience
• Proven maintenance and fault-finding skills

Responsibilities

• Perform Planned and Reactive Maintenance on mixers, conveyors, ovens, moulders and related equipment
• Conduct electrical & instrumentation fault-finding using meters and infrared scanners
• Oversee planned & preventive maintenance; complete daily job cards
• Assist in reducing downtime and improving product quality
