Job summary

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in wheat milling or equivalent qualification is required.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, FSSC22000) and quality management systems.
• IT/computer skills are required; GMF/SAGMA milling qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Control grist and product quality parameters.
• Monitor and manage the Cleaning and Conditioning process.
• Maintain, monitor and operate milling equipment.
• Compile and execute milling plan and control wheat milling processes for shift.
• Control raw material and finished stock levels and rotation for shift.
• Maintain food safety, safety, hygiene and regulatory compliance.
• Optimize people, process, machinery and equipment.
• Manage discipline within the team.
