Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist for our client in Midrand, Gauteng, ZA. The role oversees production processes, ensuring GMP compliance, quality, and efficiency.

You will lead operations, mentor staff, drive CAPAs, participate in validation, and collaborate with QA, Engineering, and Supply Chain to maintain records and implement new technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Strong GMP and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with various dosage forms and manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methods.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure timely production.
• Ensure GMP compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Troubleshoot production issues, root-cause analysis, and CAPAs.
• Develop, implement, and optimize SOPs.
• Participate in process validation activities and equipment qualification.
• Monitor yields, efficiencies, and quality metrics; drive improvements.
• Train and mentor junior manufacturing staff.
• Collaborate with QA, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Contribute to new manufacturing technologies and processes.
