Mid - Power Procurement Project Manager - 3 Year Contract - (CPT) Product/Project Management

ENVIRONMENT

Join a world‑leading scientific and technology organisation pioneering breakthroughs in large‑scale data and signal processing. They are seeking a highly skilled Mid Power Project Manager to take ownership of procuring and delivering Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) that will power one of the most advanced observatory environments on the continent. In this role, you’ll work together with the Power and Electrical Engineers to ensure every PPA meets stringent technical, operational, and performance requirements. Your expertise will directly influence the reliability, efficiency, and long‑term sustainability of mission‑critical infrastructure. To succeed, you’ll need a B.Eng. or B(Hons) in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years experience, or a BTech/BSc in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years experience, along with a proven background in power systems, project execution, and managing technically complex stakeholder environments.

Key Requirements
  • B.Eng. or BCom Hons in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications coupled with 8+ years OR BTech/BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications coupled with 10 years experience, AND PMP (or equivalent; OR Project Management Qualification), AND ECSA Professional registration or eligibility for ECSA professional registration as a professional engineer or technologist (advantageous)
Experience
  • Proven experience in the project management and delivery of contracts from tender to completion within a large/complex construction project.
