Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment in Johannesburg, South Africa, seeks two Intermediate Software Developers to join an established Agile team on a contract basis. You will contribute to development, enhancement and support of business-critical applications with a go-live target in September.

You will work with C# / .NET, ASP.NET Core, Angular, REST APIs and SQL Server, participate in CI/CD, automated tests and agile ceremonies while owning your tasks and delivering reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years' professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core and REST APIs.
• Solid experience with SQL Server.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with automation testing.
• Understanding CI/CD principles and pipelines.
• Experience providing application or production support.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain applications using C# /.NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop front-end applications using Angular.
• Design, develop and integrate REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain solutions using SQL Server.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues.
• Provide application and production support for live systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and code reviews.
• Collaborate with developers, technical teams and stakeholders.
• Take ownership of development tasks and deliverables.
