The D365 Functional Consultant will provide in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics D365 application and serve as a SME by evaluating customer requirements, business processes, and current issues to develop models and provide effective solutions offered by EY. We are looking to add a strong professional to our team who can bring an in-depth understanding of manufacturing, including experience in production execution (production and T&L) and planning (master planning) within areas such as discrete and process manufacturing, food and beverage, financial services, and wholesale distribution.
We seek an experienced, ambitious, energetic, and self-driven D365 implementation consultant with a proven track record in implementing Finance & Operations (F&O). Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in discovery meetings with clients to understand current business processes for D365 FSC implementation.
- Work with clients to understand legacy data components and identify appropriate data locations in D365; document data mapping for conversion by technical staff.
- Validate business practices and processes in Dynamics based on discovery analysis.
- Conduct GAP analysis to identify differences between application capabilities and business processes.
- Identify creative solutions for processes not fully supported by standard D365.
- Develop and deliver presentations outlining findings and recommendations to clients.
- Translate business objectives and success factors into functional documents.
- Configure the application to conform to business process definitions.
- Train users with hands-on methodology and develop training documentation.
- Provide ongoing support to end users, assisting with troubleshooting and additional training via email, phone, or site visits.
- Maintain and expand client relationships through high-quality service delivery.
- Fully utilize Microsoft technologies and Azure Stack tools such as LCS, BPM, VSTS, PowerApps, Office 365, etc.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
- At least 5 years of D365 FSC / AX implementation experience.
- Minimum of 3 full lifecycle implementations of Dynamics 365 Commerce.
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics D365 FSC / AX are highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Experience in product creation, management, trade agreements, procurement, and sales.
- Experience with intercompany activities and multiple legal entries management.
- Ability to guide workflows in procurement processes.
- Experience with tools like SQL Reporting Services is highly desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.
- Passion for client success and enthusiasm for technology solutions.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites.
