• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental best practices in mining operations.
• Ability to work shifts as required and to adapt to operational demands.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control metallurgical processes to achieve optimal recovery and product quality.
• Conduct metallurgical test work and pilot plant trials to evaluate new processes or improvements.
• Analyze process data, identify root causes of performance deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and optimize operating parameters for various processing units (e.g., crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching).
• Prepare technical reports on plant performance, test results, and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the processing plant.
• Assist in troubleshooting operational problems and provide technical support to plant personnel.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and projects.
