Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with 4+ years post-qualification experience in corporate law, focused on M&A.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in due diligence for acquisitions and disposals.
• Draft and negotiate sale of shares, asset purchase, and joint venture agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting legal due diligence for potential acquisitions and disposals.
• Draft and negotiate key transaction documents, including sale of shares agreements, asset purchase agreements, and joint venture agreements.
• Advise clients on deal structuring, regulatory approvals, and corporate governance aspects of M&A transactions.
• Coordinate with external advisors, including financial and tax consultants.
• Manage transaction closing processes and post-closing integration.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
