Our client, a leading corporate law firm based in Rustenburg , is looking for a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer with a specialization in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). This is an on-site position where you will engage directly with a diverse clientele, including established corporations and burgeoning enterprises, guiding them through intricate M&A transactions. The role demands a proactive legal mind capable of managing complex deal structures, conducting due diligence, and ensuring seamless execution from initiation to closure. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting transaction agreements (e.g., Share Purchase Agreements, Asset Purchase Agreements), and closing documentation.
• Advise clients on corporate structuring, governance, and regulatory compliance related to M&A activities.
• Conduct thorough legal and commercial due diligence investigations.
• Negotiate transaction terms and conditions to protect client interests.
• Liaise with clients, financial advisors, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
• Provide ongoing corporate legal advice to a portfolio of clients.
• Stay abreast of developments in M&A law and market trends.
• Assist with post-transaction integration and corporate restructuring.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, with a significant focus on M&A.
• Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end M&A deals.
