Job summary

The Building Company in Mpumalanga is seeking a stock controller/merchandiser to ensure stock is correctly stored, displayed and maintained across fixtures. You will support customer service, achieve sales targets and assist with merchandising and stock taking in a fast paced retail environment.

Role focuses on merchandising standards, stock control, receiving and checking, and coordinating promotions while upholding company values and culture in-store.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Minimum 1-2 Years’ Experience In a Similar Position
• 1 year’s shelf packing/merchandising experience
• Knowledge of general building material environment is essential
• Proven success in personal selling (achieving sales targets), customer service finding new business (customer) and converting it to actual sales.
• Ability to manage and coordinate regular stock takes
• Interact with customers
