Job summary

The Building Company in Cape Town seeks a diligent Inward Logistics Coordinator to co-ordinate purchasing of stock, ensure stock levels and minimize stock-outs, and support store operations in a busy retail environment.

This role requires Grade 12, NQF level qualifications in stock management, and will involve stock counting, receiving coordination, GRN processing, labeling, packing, and staff supervision, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Grade 12 or equivalent.
NQF 2 in Count Stock and Control Stock.
NQF 3 for Replenish Stock; NQF 4 for Management; NQF 5 for Advanced Buying; Retail Diploma / B.Tech advantageous (NQF 6–7)

Responsibilities

Co-ordinate buying and stock receiving.
Coordinate GRN processing and labeling/packing.
Manage stock file maintenance and range profiling.
Conduct stock takes and cycle counts.
Support stock promotions and reporting.
Supervise store staff and uphold company values.
