Job summary

ALEMCO, based on-site in the UAE, is seeking a BIM Modeler Trainee to support the BIM team with accurate 3D MEP models. You will receive hands-on training under experienced professionals while contributing to project deliverables.

You will participate in BIM modeling, coordinate with other disciplines, and develop your technical skills to advance within a dynamic, project-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Maximum of 2 years of experience in MEP engineering or related field.
• Will be undergoing training to become a BIM Modeler.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and good teamwork.
• Good communication and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in BIM training and develop technical modeling skills.
• Create and update 3D MEP models using BIM software under supervision.
• Prepare MEP drawings, layouts, and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Assist in coordinating MEP with architectural, structural, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure model compliance with requirements.
• Identify design clashes and report inconsistencies during modeling.
• Revise models based on project updates and client comments.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Perform other engineering and drafting-related tasks as assigned.

This role is based on‑site in the UAE and will require relocation.

Your Role

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Maximum of 2 years of experience in MEP engineering or a related field.
• Willing to undergo training and build a career as a BIM Modeler.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit is an advantage but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet project deadlines.
