Pulmonary Hypertension, Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Innovative Medicine is a leader in the field of PAH - our portfolio of treatments covers the spectrum of disease, from WHO Functional Class II-IV, with oral and intravenous medications.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Build external relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and be committed to continuous scientific exchange with KOLs as appropriate
  • Provide proficient and reliable scientific data to HCPs about disease state education and Pulmonary Hypertension, J&J Innovative Medicine products
  • Interact with healthcare providers who are interested in participating in Pulmonary Hypertension, J&J Innovative Medicine - sponsored clinical trials
  • Partner with Clinical Research to identify appropriate sites for Pulmonary Hypertension, J&J Innovative Medicine sponsored clinical trials, perform high-level feasibility assessments and relay appropriate information back to corporate office
  • Facilitate clear communication between Pulmonary Hypertension, J&J Innovative Medicine and investigators involved in investigator-initiated studies
  • Develop training materials for internal partners on products, products in development, associated therapeutic areas, and medical developments pertaining to company products and/or disease state
  • Demonstrate business insight through alignment of activities to medical strategy
  • Drive for results via successful execution of goals and overcome barriers to success
  • Foster accountability via documenting field-based activity, special project updates, and insights acquired from interactions with HCPs or from scientific meetings
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners within the territory to provide support from a field-medical perspective
  • Develop an understanding of local, regional, and national HCPs, as well as the health care environments in which they work
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information
  • Strong business insight and proven performance in team environment
Qualifications
  • Education: This job requires a combination of analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Advanced terminal degree (PharmD, PhD, DO, MD, DNP) or other advanced medical degree - Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Experience and Skills
  • Have a valid driver’s license as a condition of employment and ability to operate an automobile
  • Ability to travel within and outside of the US
  • Requires up to 70% travel: overnight travel, flexible hours as needed (e.g., conventions, meetings)
  • Comfort with technology, utilization of computer, company applications and remote technology
  • This position does not offer relocation.
Preferred
  • 1-2 years of MSL experience and/or at least 2-3 years relevant work and experience which can include clinical, research, fellowship, or pharmaceutical work experience
  • Knowledge or experience in the pulmonary/cardiology/pulmonary hypertension disease areas or rare disease
  • Experience working in the Philadelphia territory is strongly preferred
Pay and Benefits

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $115,000-$197,800
