Job summary

A healthcare practice in Cape Town is seeking a Medical Receptionist & Personal Assistant to manage appointments, handle administrative tasks, and provide patient liaison. Ideal candidates will have a Matric qualification and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with medical software is a plus. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:30.

Qualifications

Medical Receptionist & Personal Assistant, Cape Town

Our client, a Specialist Doctor based in Tokai in Cape Town, is seeking to recruit an experienced medical receptionist & executive assistant.

Responsibilities
  • Diary and appointment management
  • General administrative and PA duties (trip bookings, appointments etc.)
  • Answering incoming calls & emails
  • Monitor WhatsApp Groups
  • Patient liaison
  • Service Provider liaison
  • Answer medical questions from an answer-file
  • Website and GP outreach
  • Cash and credit card payment and receipting
  • Billing knowledge
  • Stock control and ordering of stock
  • Creating patient files
  • Ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the practice
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
  • General administration
  • Maintain efficient patient service
  • Maintain confidentiality of all doctors, staff and patient information
Qualifications
