Job summary

Netcare Pharmacies Pty Ltd in South Africa seeks a Clinical Engineering Technician responsible for the management and maintenance of medical equipment in line with manufacturer specifications and Health Technology Regulations.

You will implement and maintain CMMS (SAP PM), conduct equipment audits, plan services, manage inventory, liaise with suppliers, and contribute to a five-year replacement plan while upholding Netcare standards.

Qualifications

• Essential: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and eligibility for ECSA registration.
• Essential: 1 year experience in maintenance and management of medical equipment in hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all medical equipment.
• Implement and maintain CMMS (SAP PM) for all medical equipment.
• Plan and execute maintenance per manufacturer specifications and Health Technology Regulations.
• Liaise with suppliers to schedule preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Assist with replacement planning and budgeting for medical equipment.
• Prepare and file documentation including test reports and service certificates.
