Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Centurion is seeking a Mechanical Technologist to focus on design and engineering for parts manufacturing processes using CNC. The ideal candidate will have a BTech Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in parts design and manufacturing. Proficiency in Fusion 360 is required, and candidates must be RSA citizens. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for commuting are preferred.

Job description

We are looking for a Mechanical Technologist for design and engineering work in parts manufacturing processes using CNC.

MUST :

Have at least 5 years' experience in Parts Design and Parts Manufacturing using CNC machines (design work for this role is about 70% of the total time).

Have a completed BTech Degree in Mechanical Engineering (NOT a diploma or advanced diploma).

Be proficient in Fusion 360 (other CAD software can also be considered).

Be experience in refining of parts design, parts design amendments / corrections, surface treatments etc.

RSA Citizens only.

Preferably have a valid drivers license and own vehicle to get to work and back.

No criminal record - will be verified.
