Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead the client’s maintenance team in Mahikeng. You will ensure optimal performance and reliability of plant mechanical equipment, supervise technicians, and drive maintenance strategies to minimise downtime.

You will manage spare parts, uphold safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement, delivering operational continuity in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.
• Minimum 5 years in mechanical maintenance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with CMMS is advantageous.

Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead their maintenance team in Mahikeng . This role is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of all mechanical equipment and machinery within the plant. You will supervise a team of technicians, develop and implement maintenance strategies, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently. This is a vital position for maintaining operational continuity and productivity in their industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of mechanical maintenance technicians
