Placements24 in Mahikeng is seeking an Industrial Machinery Technician to join our manufacturing support team. The role covers installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex machinery to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will be meticulous, technically proficient and capable of working with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced plant environment. Overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Industrial Technician or maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical controls.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex machinery and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and commission new industrial machinery and equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production machinery.
