Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to manage and optimize the mechanical maintenance operations at their facility in Soweto . This role is focused on ensuring the reliability and efficient functioning of all plant machinery and equipment through effective preventative and corrective maintenance strategies. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime, enhancing equipment lifespan, and supporting the overall operational goals of the plant in Gauteng .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
