About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and recommend improvements.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related trade qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is advantageous.
