Job summary

Sasol is hiring at Secunda, MP for a role that operates basic mechanical/electro-mechanical equipment and performs routine tasks according to detailed instructions to meet performance targets.

The ideal candidate will have Matric/N3 with Maths, English and Physical Science, plus an Occupational Trade Qualification (Mechanical Red Seal) and at least 3 years of relevant experience. You will work under safety-focused processes and contribute to continuous improvement and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Matric/N3 with Maths, English and Physical Science.
• Occupational Trade Qualification/Certificate (Mechanical Red Seal).
• Experience: 3+ relevant years.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic mechanical/electro-mechanical equipment per detailed instructions.
• Read, interpret and apply plant maintenance documentation and planning systems.
• Contribute to risk assessments and safety compliance in line with IMS and MBO.
• Mentor learners/artisans and support group leader in achieving PDP goals.
