Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Fitter to support our manufacturing operations in Sandton. The role covers assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment to keep machinery running safely and efficiently.

You will read drawings, perform precision fitting, diagnose faults and carry out preventive maintenance with a focus on quality and safety. Trade qualification and ability to work physically demanding workshop tasks are essential; we offer competitive salary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical trade.
• Trade qualification or certification in mechanical fitting is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.

• Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks in a workshop environment.
