Job summary

Together Staffing Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a personal care manufacturing facility in Gauteng. You will provide mechanical engineering expertise, manage capital projects, and drive improvements to equipment performance while ensuring plant assets operate safely.

Responsibilities include leading projects from planning to implementation, improving reliability, investigating failures, supporting upgrades and commissioning, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Matric and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering are required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering and continuous improvement is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and engineering excellence.
