The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in HVAC design, and strong CAD experience (AutoCAD, Revit MEP), along with load calculations and energy modeling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical design with HVAC specialization.
• Proficiency in CAD software and HVAC design/analysis tools (HAP, TRACE).
• Strong understanding of codes/standards for HVAC systems (SANS, ASHRAE).
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Create detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software.
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system performance analysis.
• Select HVAC equipment (chillers, boilers, AHUs, pumps) per project.
• Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and PMs to integrate HVAC.
• Conduct site visits for assessment, installation oversight, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
