Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and some experience in the industry. Responsibilities include performing designs, CAD drawings, and engineering calculations. Candidates with mining industry experience are preferred. Only South African residents or holders of a relevant work permit will be considered.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years experience in a Mechanical Design industry of machines or parts.
• Mining industry experience highly advantageous.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Strong academic transcripts desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform designs and CAD drawing.
• Maintain Bill Of Materials (BOMs).
• Prepare technical reports.
• Site travel required.
