Job summary

Pick n Pay is seeking a diligent team member to manufacture and package meat products, price items and maintain correct labeling across shifts. You will perform quality checks, rotate stock, maintain hygiene, and assist customers with professionalism.

Must live near the store, communicate in English and be willing to transfer between stores. A Matric is required and you should be a reliable, calm team player who follows procedures precisely.

Qualifications

• Matric with clear results.
• Able to manufacture meat products (sausage, mince, etc.).
• Must reside close to store for mobility.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Willingness to transfer between stores and handle routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture/prepare and wrap products according to standards.
• Price items and check correct labeling.
• Perform regular quality checks and rotate stock.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and cold-chain where required.
• Assist customers courteously and fulfill orders to service standards.
• Operate and clean equipment according to laid down standards.
• Promote products and communicate with staff and suppliers.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
