Job summary

Inspired Education Group is seeking a College Mathematics Teacher for our Johannesburg campus. You will plan and deliver IEB-aligned mathematics lessons to grades 10–12, promoting deep understanding and student well-being.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of HET/FET level experience teaching mathematics, experience with the IEB programme, and comfort with ICT tools to enhance learning. A university degree in an appropriate subject and SACE accreditation are required.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience teaching Mathematics at FET level (Gr10–12).
• Experience with the IEB programme.
• Confidence with use of ICT in teaching.
• Appropriate legal right to work in a South African school.

Responsibilities

• Be an active contributor and collaborator amongst a dynamic team.
• Consistently plan, prepare and present interesting and IEB aligned Mathematics lessons.
• Establish a teaching environment that is nurturing and promotes deep learning.
• To serve the community.
• Respond to e-mails and telephone messages within 24 hours.
• Be a Tutor teacher, ensuring effective pastoral care for a group of students.
• Effectively set and mark assessments and all other forms of student evaluation.
