Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Honours/Masters in Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science.
• 2+ years lecturing modules with an analytics component.
• 1+ year work experience as a data analyst or data scientist; higher level than taught.
• Copy of academic transcript.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module requirements.
• Manage resources including teaching materials and consult the Information Centre.
• Update the learning management system and provide student feedback.
• Prepare students for assessments and identify at-risk students.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submissions with escalation.
• Attend academic meetings across faculties.
• Analyse and reflect on student module results.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in assigned modules.
• Complete academic professional development activities annually to improve teaching practice.
