Job summary

Greys Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineer for a client in the Consulting Engineering sector in Limpopo. The role focuses on road construction material testing and laboratory management, with 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.

The ideal candidate will perform field and laboratory tests on aggregates, asphalt and layers, identify suitable material sources, ensure compliance with project specifications, and deliver accurate quality data and reporting.

Qualifications

• NDip/BTech/BSc in Civil Engineering is required.
• ECSA registration will be advantageous.
• Experience in road construction material testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory tests on aggregates, asphalt, and layers.
• Identify and inspect material sources such as borrow pits.
• Ensure project specifications compliance and report quality data.
• Maintain accurate test records and documentation.
• Provide regular reporting on testing outcomes.
