Job summary

Innomotics is seeking a reliable Material Handling Operator to support warehouse and production operations. The role combines physical material handling with SAP system transactions to ensure accurate inventory control and timely support to manufacturing and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years' experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments, be proficient with SAP or similar ERP systems, and commit to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, stores, or material handling operations.
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Forklift licence is advantageous.
• Machine Operator License (F8-F9 etc.) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming materials and products.
• Pick, pack, stage, and issue materials to production or customer orders.
• Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment.
• Perform material movements within warehouse and production areas.
• Ensure materials are identified, labelled, stored and protected.
• Conduct cycle counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety compliance.

Your Future Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handling Operator to support warehouse and production operations. This role combines physical material handling activities with SAP system transactions , ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient movement of materials, and timely support to manufacturing and customer requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, be comfortable using ERP systems such as SAP, and possess a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Material Handling

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming materials and products.
• Pick, pack, stage, and issue materials to production or customer orders.
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Perform material movements within the warehouse and production areas.
• Ensure materials are correctly identified, labelled, stored, and protected.
• Conduct cycle counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to all safety requirements.

SAP & Inventory Management

• Process all goods movements accurately in SAP, including:
  • Goods Receipts (GR)
  • Goods Issues (GI)
  • Stock Transfers
  • Returns and Adjustments
• Verify material quantities and transaction accuracy before system posting.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.
• Assist with stock reconciliation and inventory audits.
• Generate and review SAP reports as required
• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, stores, or material handling operations.
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Valid forklift licence will be advantageous.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Machine Operator License (Order picker F8-F9, Pedestrian Controlled Stacker F7, Overhead Crane C30, counter-balanced lift truck F01) will be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory control processes.
• Proficiency in SAP inventory transactions.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
