Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Vaal Triangle is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, inspect and store steel deliveries and support stock control in Vanderbijlpark.

You will verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders, mark and lay out materials, maintain accurate records of stock movement, report discrepancies, and assist with general warehouse duties to ensure efficient operations and safe handling of goods.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and verify against purchase orders for accuracy
• Check quantities, specifications, and quality of received steel and steel products
• Mark and lay out steel according to job/project requirements
• Assist with general stores duties, including stock keeping and inventory control
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement, receipts, and issues
• Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the supervisor
• Support general warehouse and materials handling functions as required
