Job summary

Staff Solutions is seeking an experienced Master Data Manager to lead our group governance framework across multiple business units in a FMCG/manufacturing context. You will define ownership, drive data quality initiatives, and ensure consistent master data across ERP systems.

The role requires 8–10 years in master data or ERP environments, with strong stakeholder engagement and analytical skills to support system implementations and business transformation.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years’ experience in master data management or ERP data environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a group master data governance framework across all business units.
• Define data ownership, roles and responsibilities across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales and Procurement.
• Establish and enforce master data policies, standards and procedures, including audit and control requirements.
• Drive standardisation of data definitions and structures across systems and sites.
• Oversee creation, maintenance and deletion of master data objects with workflow approvals.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and synchronisation across ERP and related systems.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, and integrations from a master data perspective.
• Implement data quality monitoring, cleansing and issue-resolution processes.
• Identify root causes of data errors and drive corrective actions.
• Manage changes to master data structures and standards, including impact assessment across systems.

Key Performance Areas:

• Develop and implement a group master data governance framework across all business units.


• Define data ownership, roles and responsibilities across Supply Chain, Finance,Salesand Procurement.


• Establish and enforce master data policies, standards and procedures, including audit and control requirements.


• Drivestandardisationof data definitions and structures across systems and sites.


• Manage key master data domains, including customer, supplier and procurement data, material/SKU, Bills of Material, production data, milk sourcing data,pricingand trade terms.


• Oversee the creation,maintenance,and deletion of master data objects, supported by effective validation andapproval ofworkflows.


• Ensure data is accurate, complete, consistent, and synchronised across ERP and related systems.


• Support system implementations,upgrades,and integrations from a master data perspective.


• Implement data quality monitoring, reporting, cleansing, and issue-resolution processes.


• Identify the root causes of data errors and drive corrective actions.


• Manage changes to master data structures and standards, including impact assessment across systems and business processes.


• Continuously improve master data processes and support business transformation and integration initiatives.


• Develop data management capability and provide guidance to business users on master data standards and processes.


• Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, IT,Salesand Operations teams to strengthen data integrity and accountability.

Knowledge & Skills:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Information Systems,Businessorrelatedfield.


• 8 to 10 years’ experience in master data management, ERPsystemsor supply chain data environments.


• Experience in multi-site or multi-system environments, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.


• Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, and system integration.


• Strong understanding of ERP systems and master data structures.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving,communication,and stakeholder engagement capability.
