Job summary

Woodlands Dairy (Pty) (Ltd) is seeking an experienced Master Data Manager to establish and govern master data across multiple systems, sites and business processes. You will ensure data accuracy and consistency supporting planning, procurement, finance, manufacturing, sales and reporting.

The role requires 8–10 years in master data management or related data environments, with ERP experience and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Experience in master data management and data governance.
Experience with ERP and multi-site data environments; FMCG/manufacturing preferred.
Excellent analytical and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a group master data governance framework across all business units.
Define data ownership, roles and responsibilities across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales and Procurement.
Establish master data policies, standards and procedures including audit controls.
Standardise data definitions and structures across systems and sites.
Manage master data domains including customer, supplier, material, BOM, pricing and trade terms.
Oversee creation, maintenance, and deletion of master data objects with validation workflows.
Ensure data accuracy and synchronisation across ERP systems.
Support system implementations, upgrades, and integrations from a master data perspective.
Implement data quality monitoring, cleansing and issue resolution processes.
Identify root causes of data errors and drive corrective actions.
