Qualifications

• Grade 12/Standard 10 English (Essential/Minimum).
• N3 Relevant Trade Subjects (Essential/Minimum).
• Trade: Instrumentation Mechanician MQ A/Q (Essential/Minimum).
• Computer literacy with applicable software (Essential/Minimum).
• Certificate: Basic Management Program (Essential/Minimum).
• N4 Technical or Instrumentation Mechanician/Instrumentation (Desirable).
• Minimum 3 years technical maintenance experience in heavy industry/mining.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and ensure optimal operation of equipment.
• Diagnose faults using advanced tech and apply corrective measures.
• Facilitate on‑the‑job training and mentoring for artisans.
• Collaborate with foremen to coordinate maintenance efforts.
• Manage maintenance costs and optimize resources within budget.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12/Standard 10 English (Essential/Minimum)

• Trade: Instrumentation Mechanician MQA/Q (Essential/Minimum)
• Computer Literacy with Applicable Software (Essential/Minimum)
• Certificate: Basic Management Program (Essential/Minimum)
• N4 Technical or Instrumentation Mechanician/ Instrumentation (Recommended/Desirable)
• Minimum of 3 years applicable technical and maintenance experience in a heavy industry/production/mining environment
• Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum)
• Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum)
• Valid Public Driver's License: Code B (Essential/Minimum)
• Competence in Core MQA Modules Assessments (Essential/Minimum)
