Job summary

MTN seeks a seasoned Manager, Master Data Management to own the enterprise data strategy, governance framework, and the day-to-day master data operations across Fintech entities. You will lead ERP data governance, drive data quality, and oversee releases and changes with vendors and key stakeholders.

You will manage a team of Master Data Analysts, collaborate with Finance and Technology, and ensure audit readiness with strong data controls. French speaking is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a numerate field such as CS, Finance or Accounting.
• 8–10 years in master data management, ERP operations, finance systems and automation.
• Hands-on ERP experience with major systems; NetSuite is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the enterprise ERP Master Data Management strategy, governance, policies, and processes.
• Own governance and data quality across master data domains (supplier, customer, item, project, COA, budget).
• Monitor data quality, KPIs, and data integrity across entities; drive cleansing and reconciliations.
• Oversee ERP data flows, integrations, conversions, and new entity or module implementations.
• Maintain alignment between subledgers and general ledger, including COA and close controls.
• Provide modelling and analytical support for decision-making.
• Lead SDLC processes for ERP enhancements and change management.
• Manage ERP releases, incidents, and vendor collaboration to optimise performance.
• Govern user access, SoD, and license optimisation across entities.
• Drive automation via workflows, dashboards, analytics, and RPA opportunities.
• Lead and develop Master Data Analysts with cross-functional coordination.
