About the role: We are looking for a creative, commercially minded and hands‑on Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our brand presence, social media, paid advertising and product marketing.
This role will be responsible for building and managing the company’s brand across digital channels, creating engaging content, running targeted paid advertising campaigns and developing marketing initiatives that drive awareness, leads and customer adoption.
The ideal candidate understands that marketing is more than simply creating content, it is about understanding the product, identifying the right audience, communicating its value and turning interest into real customers.
You will work closely with the leadership, sales and product teams to ensure that our marketing strategy supports business growth and that our software products are effectively positioned and taken to market.
Duties:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with company and product growth objectives.
- Manage and grow the company’s social media presence across relevant platforms.
- Develop creative and engaging content, including social media posts, graphics, videos, product content and campaigns.
- Plan, launch and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Google and Meta.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and optimise advertising spend to improve lead generation and conversion.
- Develop and maintain the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.
- Build brand awareness and strengthen the company’s positioning within the software and technology market.
- Develop product marketing strategies for new and existing software products.
- Take products from internal development through to market launch, including positioning, messaging, launch campaigns and supporting content.
- Identify target audiences and develop customer personas and messaging that clearly communicate product value.
- Create marketing materials including website content, presentations, brochures, email campaigns, product guides and sales collateral.
- Work with the sales team to develop campaigns and materials that generate and support new business opportunities.
- Manage website content and identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and lead generation.
- Track marketing metrics, campaign performance and lead generation, providing regular reports and recommendations to management.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities and areas for differentiation.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, product launches and promotional initiatives from concept through to execution.
- Manage relationships with external marketing, design, media or creative suppliers where required.
- Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, advertising platforms, social media developments and emerging marketing technologies.
- Continuously test new ideas, channels and campaigns to improve marketing performance and customer acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in a marketing role, preferably within a software, technology, engineering or B2B environment.
- Proven experience managing social media platforms and developing digital content.
- Practical experience with paid advertising platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads and/or Meta Ads.
- Experience with brand development and brand management.
- Experience developing and executing product marketing or product launch campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Experience using marketing analytics and reporting tools to measure campaign performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to understand technical products and translate complex information into clear, engaging customer‑facing messaging.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- A proactive, self‑motivated approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of marketing initiatives.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing activity contributes to business growth.
- Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar would be advantageous.
- Experience with CRM, email marketing, SEO or marketing automation platforms would be advantageous.
