Job summary

Hollywoodbets is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to join our Purple Team based in Umhlanga, Durban. You'll drive strategic planning and lead multiple campaigns in a fast-paced entertainment betting environment, shaping how we engage customers across Africa and beyond.

You'll partner with Marketing, Commercial and Executive teams, translate business objectives into actionable plans, and mentor the Senior Marketing Project Coordinator while driving continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years marketing and project management experience.
• 2+ years leadership or team management experience.
• Experience managing multiple marketing campaigns and large-scale projects.
• Experience working with agencies, suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing project management frameworks, processes and standards.
• Partner with Marketing, Commercial and Executive teams to translate business objectives into actionable project plans.
• Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, events, sponsorships, activations and launches.
• Ensure all projects are aligned to brand strategy, customer needs and commercial objectives.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the Senior Marketing Project Coordinator.
• Drive continuous improvement within project management processes and workflows.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency and enhanced campaign performance.
• Oversee multiple marketing projects from inception through to completion.
• Ensure project scope, timelines, deliverables and success measures are clearly defined.
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, dependencies and issues.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to agreed standards.
• Oversee resource allocation across projects.
• Ensure project reporting, documentation and governance requirements are maintained.
• Develop and manage campaign and project budgets.
• Monitor expenditure and implement appropriate cost controls.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, suppliers and partners.
• Provide regular project updates and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure stakeholder expectations are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor campaign and project performance against defined objectives.
• Analyze project outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare executive reports and presentations.
• Drive accountability and project excellence across the marketing function.
