One&Only Cape Town is seeking a Marketing & Communications Assistant to support the team with general marketing and administrative tasks. The role requires strong organisational skills and understanding of branding and marketing.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a marketing/communications environment.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must stay on the pulse of trends both globally and locally.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Own transport is required.
• Organised and solutions-oriented with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and compile all outlet databases and securely share for upload to Global CRM team.
• Respond to online reviews, queries and comments with a 100% response rate.
• Assist with content updates for third-party websites and internal portals (Box, Bams).
• Handle quotes, vendor apps, invoicing, POs, payments and other procurement tasks.
• Attend operational and resort marketing/PR meetings and report back to Director S&M.
• Support in marketing calendars, advertising, listings and editorial planning.
• Manage events, media trips and marketing collateral distribution to relevant teams.
