Introduction
This role exists to translate technical, commercial and brand messaging into clear, engaging and visually compelling content across both digital and print platforms. Operating in a technical, industrial environment, the Marketing Designer ensures that all communication — internal and external — is professional, consistent, and aligned with the organisation’s brand identity.
The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong technical design ability, excellent communication skills, and the discipline to manage multiple projects while maintaining high visual standards.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Marketing Content Development
- Marketing Material Design — Design brochures, spec sheets, presentations, advertisements and digital assets
- Digital Content Creation — Create content for social media, websites and email campaigns
- Print & Digital Artwork — Prepare artwork for both print and digital use
- Brand Alignment — Ensure all outputs align with brand identity and visual standards
Internal Communications & Digital Platforms
- Internal Communication Design — Design and manage internal communication materials
- SharePoint Content — Develop and maintain content for internal platforms
- Communication Clarity — Ensure clarity, usability and consistency across internal channels
- Cross‑Team Messaging — Support effective communication across teams
Video, Photography & Visual Storytelling
- Photography & Videography — Capture and edit product, people and event content
- Video Production — Produce video content for marketing and internal communication
- Motion Graphics — Support basic animation or motion graphics (advantageous)
- Visual Storytelling — Translate technical concepts into clear visual narratives
Brand Management & Creative Direction
- Corporate Identity Management — Support development and maintenance of brand guidelines
- Consistency & Quality — Ensure consistency in tone, messaging and visual presentation
- Design Trends — Stay updated with design tools, trends and technologies
- Creative Improvement — Continuously improve visual quality and impact
Collaboration & Project Delivery
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Work closely with Marketing, Sales, HR and technical teams
- Technical Translation — Convert technical/commercial information into clear visual outputs
- Project Management — Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Supplier Engagement — Engage with printers, media partners and service providers
- Design Refinement — Refine designs based on stakeholder feedback
Governance, Quality & Standards
- Quality Assurance — Ensure all outputs meet quality, accuracy and brand standards
- Process Compliance — Adhere to company processes and policies
- Professional Standards — Maintain professionalism across all communication outputs
Preferred Experience Required
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in graphic design and communications
- Experience in a corporate or B2B environment (advantageous)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse creative work
- Experience in video production, photography and visual storytelling
Preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of layout, typography and visual design principles
- Ability to integrate content across Microsoft Office and digital platforms
- Experience with SharePoint or internal communication platforms (advantageous)
