Job summary

The Key Recruitment Group is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their Muizenberg team, supporting the Marketing Department in executing activities that strengthen brand visibility across campaigns, digital marketing, content creation, events and admin tasks. The role provides day-to-day marketing support while ensuring all activities are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Project management or a related field.
• 1–2 years' marketing or marketing assistant experience.
• Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (advantageous).
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing, email marketing and website content management.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and scheduling social media content across multiple brands.
• Create basic marketing content including graphics, videos, photography and copy.
• Support marketing campaigns from planning through execution.
• Maintain website content, email campaigns and marketing databases.
• Coordinate exhibitions, trade shows and promotional events.
• Order and manage marketing material, promotional items and branded assets.
• Compile monthly marketing reports and analyse campaign performance.
• Provide general marketing administration and supplier coordination.
• Use AI tools to improve content creation, research and productivity while maintaining brand accuracy.
