Placements24 seeks a Marine Operations Supervisor to manage maritime activities at a Richards Bay port facility. You will oversee vessel movements, cargo handling, and safety compliance in a demanding port environment.

You will lead a team of marine personnel, liaise with shipping agents, port authorities, and vessel crews, and implement efficient processes to improve turnaround times.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maritime operations, port management or related field.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of vessel operations and port procedures.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in maritime logistics and a proven ability to lead operations in a demanding port environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of vessel docking , mooring, loading, and unloading operations.
