Placements24 is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our George operations in Western Cape. You will design, develop, and optimize production processes to boost efficiency, quality, and safety on the shop floor.

You will collaborate with R&D, design engineering and production teams, maintain process documentation (SOPs, P&IDs), and lead feasibility studies, pilot tests, and equipment commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing process engineering.
• Experience in process design, optimization and validation.
• CAD software experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and SPC.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone).
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.
