Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: minimum 7 years in operations management covering manufacturing and distribution.
• Proven ability to manage integrated operations in East London or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of lean techniques, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and integrate all manufacturing and distribution operations in East London, Eastern Cape.
• Manage daily production activities, meeting quality, schedules and cost targets.
• Direct warehouse operations: inventory management, order fulfillment and material handling.
• Manage transportation logistics for timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Implement lean principles and continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Lead, mentor and develop teams across manufacturing, warehousing and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality regulations.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales and engineering to align operations with business goals.
