Job summary

Enablesa (Pty) Ltd in South Africa is seeking a seasoned Cost Accountant to join our finance team. You will maintain standard costing structures, analyze variances, and partner with operations to improve profitability and costing accuracy.

You will manage BOMs, inventory valuation, and monthly cost reports, while supporting budgeting, forecasting and cost-improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. CIMA studies encouraged and progression support available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' Cost Accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with BOM Management, ERP Systems, Inventory & Stock Control.
• BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CIMA qualification in progress, with a minimum of Strategic Level completed.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and improving standard costing structures for materials, labour and overheads.
• Preparing monthly costing reports and management information.
• Analyzing manufacturing variances including material usage, scrap and overheads.
• Inventory valuation, stock reconciliations, cycle counts and WIP reporting.
• Partnering with operations on product costing, pricing and make-versus-buy decisions.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
