Job summary

A leading company in the financial sector in South Africa is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage product costing and inventory reporting. You will prepare cost estimates for new products and updates to inventory while maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of experience in costing within the retail industry and is proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel. Fluency in Afrikaans and English is a must.

Qualifications

• At least 3 - 4 years' experience in costing with retail concern.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Experience using Sage X3 would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Product costing and tooling inventory reporting and maintenance.
• Preparation of cost estimates/quotes for new products/customers.
• Update BOMs as necessary.
• Assist with stock counts.
• Load cost estimates/quotes.
• Prepare accurate records for old and new product costings.
