Job summary

Motus Corporation in Parow is seeking an experienced Manager: Branch to lead the Parow branch, drive gross profit, unit sales and 2nd gross targets, and to establish a high-performance operations culture.

You will partner with the F&I Manager, oversee stock and asset management, reporting, staff development and compliance with retail regulations, while building a collaborative team and delivering strong customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years relevant experience in branch/operations management.
• Grade 12 and NCA required.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and computer literacy.
• Understanding of compliance governing the retail industry advantageous.
• Ability to develop a collaborative, team-based culture.

Responsibilities

• Maximize branch gross profit and achieve unit, Rand and 2nd gross targets.
• Collaborate with F&I Manager to meet financial/insurance requirements.
• Stock and asset management including cash handling.
• Communicate procedural requirements to staff and ensure implementation.
• Forward required reports timeously.
• Hold monthly staff meetings to review month-end results, marketing and opportunities.
• Ensure F&I administrative functions and compliance are carried out.
• Train branch staff on internal and on-the-job courses for efficiency.
• Conduct performance appraisals as required.

Minimum Experience:

Job Outputs:

• Ensuring that the Branch maximizes gross profit and ensures unit sales, Rand sales and 2nd gross targets are met.


• Working closely with the F&I Manager to ensure that all financial and insurance requirements are adhered to.


• Stock and Asset Management – ensuring that stock and cash is managed accordingly.


• Communicating all procedural requirements to Branch personnel and ensuring implementation thereof.


• Ensuring that required reports are forwarded timeously.


• Meeting with all staff at least once a month to discuss the following: o Month end results Local marketing activities. Business opportunities. Weaknesses and ways to counter them.


• Ensuring that all F&I administrative functions and compliance are efficiently carried out by Branch personnel.


• Ensuring that all Branch staff are trained on internal courses as well as on the job training to maximize efficiency and productivity


• Carrying out performance appraisals as required.
