Placements24, a respected management consultancy, is seeking an experienced Management Consultant focused on Operations Improvement to join their practice serving clients in Richards Bay.

You will analyze client processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop practical solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve performance. A deep understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and change management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 4–6 years in operations consulting or process improvement.
• Proven Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks expertise.
• Strong data analytics and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess current state operational processes across supply chain, manufacturing, service delivery, and other functions.
• Identify bottlenecks, waste, and areas for improvement using lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Design and implement optimized operational frameworks, workflows, and performance metrics.
• Facilitate change management initiatives and ensure buy-in from client stakeholders at all levels.

About the Role

You will be responsible for analyzing client operational processes, identifying inefficiencies, and developing practical solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. This role requires a deep understanding of operational excellence methodologies and the ability to work closely with client teams to implement sustainable changes within the KwaZulu-Natal region. This is a key position for driving impactful operational transformations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess current state operational processes across supply chain, manufacturing, service delivery, and other functions.

Requirements
