Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to join a leading agricultural technology organization. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to contribute strategic financial insights from anywhere, while the George, Western Cape location remains the registered base.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, develop performance dashboards, and partner with remote teams across the business to drive efficiency and informed decision‑making.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CIMA/ACCA is strongly preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles and practices.
• Advanced Excel skills and data modeling experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.


• Develop and manage the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.


• Create and present detailed financial reports and performance dashboards to senior management.


• Analyze cost drivers, profitability, and operational efficiencies.


• Assist in the development and implementation of financial models and business cases.


• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data used for decision-making.


• Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.


• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.


• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for business improvement.


• Collaborate closely with operational departments to understand business performance drivers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.


• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or similar is strongly preferred.


• A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in management accounting or financial analysis.


• Strong understanding of management accounting principles and practices.


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data modeling.


• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting tools.
