Job summary

FirstRand Limited is seeking a Major Incident Manager in Randburg to own and coordinate the major incident process across the group. You will serve as the primary contact for incident stakeholders and ensure timely escalation, resolution, and post-incident reviews are delivered to a high standard.

The role requires 3-5 years in a similar position, ITIL certification, and strong communication and technical skills to manage high-pressure incidents and drive executive reporting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
• ITIL Incident Management Certification required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and co-ordinate the major incident process within the FirstRand Group.
• Act as a single point of contact for all parties during a major incident.
• Ensure incident responses, escalation, resolution and post-incident reviews are effective.
• Provide post-incident reporting and monthly executive updates to stakeholders.
